What is it that makes something fight worthy? Our judgements can be so easily clouded and the good parts overlooked. Failure is found when the idea we create as the path to the outcome is failing. Even if the outcome is still attainable. If we are willing to allow for change and growth then there could be no failure.
I understand that I am two people – I am who I want to be, and I am who I am. They are not the same, but I am driven to have the one that I want to be become the one that I am. I’ve seen too many of the people in my life settle into a mindset that they are who they want to be, but without knowing that they are not. What we say and what we do are not hardly ever the same thing. It is easy to slip into blaming others for of position, but we are each in control of our own selves. We get to decided, so regardless of where the blame gets put it never truly leaves the home. If there is something or some way that you wish to be, then begin to be that no matter the situation, no matter the surroundings, no matter the company. The path will change but the outcome can remain.
Among the many things I have been learning about building these guitar things, I have been floored with the idea of ‘what makes a guitar beautiful’. When we identify people by looks we often do the same…she looks like her mother because of eye color and hair color, but she looks like her father because of her facial features…we often decided which stands out the most and go from there.
When I look at a guitar, the first thing I see is it’s shape; everything else follows after. There are so many guitars with great wood that look so amazing!…yes, the wood is amazing, but the guitar shape and all togetherness is heavily dapper, but not stunning. I know that I’ve been walking a dangerous line when compared on level with great builders and appropriate methods, but I consider most of this to be poppycock. My experience is stretching into the isle and tripping up many in the roll call…that’s alright, though. Great builders should remain great builders and should continue to use the tried and true, but I am an experimentitian! We should be glad for each of us that we are different departments in the same company. So be with good company and be sure to look beyond the gloss.
Well, here it is – that time when I refrain from musical performance in order to create the collective. Start of the collective really. Guitar procurement is in process and is going pert’dern gute’. It is definitely very intensive building so many at one time, but the current results are looking so super swell indeed. I’m also getting a much appreciated hand in the garage that is making the process a bit faster. It’s awesome to have help that I don’t want to destroy! Yah for that! I will be getting around to updating the website soon – I have been taking some photos – but time management is not yet my strong suite. Please be patient, or throw a fit…don’t care either way. Much in the way of thankful and excited.
