Here are some details about the event and the camping and the hanging out…
Address: 1 ninth street island drive, Livingston, MT 59047
My phone: 406-671-7797
*When you come over the one lane bridge at the end of 9th street, there will be a field with a little red barn immediately to your left. At the end of the field, and just before the little sea foam green house, there is a little road that leads all the way down to the solar panels and greenhouses.
You have two options for car camping: One, you continue to drive all the way back around the greenhouses (it’s scary but just keep on going!!!) and park back by the yurt…probably enough room for around ten cars back there! Or two, you can cozy up in a spot by the solar panels.
If you are tent camping, drive back and unload your gear, and then park your car up by the solar panels…unless you want to carry your stuff all the way back.
If you are just coming for the evening please park up at the solar panels. Walk to the right of the building, down the sidewalk, and around the corner…you’ll see a trail that goes back to the yurt! Cool.
For those of you that are staying, please be mindful of the weather and the things you might need for warmth and comfort.
Also, if you are a musician, please bring your instrument. We’ll be sharing songs and stories…pretty darn sure of it.
There will be water onsite for the drinking.
If you are a fishing person, it is an island, and there just happen to be a lot of fish in the river…do it!
Dogs: friendly ones are welcome. Less friendly ones will be eaten. Wilbur will be here to judge which make it and which don’t…
Sunday morning if you stay…the island is extraordinarily beautiful this time of year. There are couple of trails for walking, and you are also free to explore at your leisure. We’ll have coffee and will be cooking some sort of breakfast burrito station thingy….Ok, reach out with questions!!!
Ok, be safe…
